The Beagles below are not in the care of Beagles rrrrrrrr Us, but their humans have asked us to help find them a new home.

Please contact their caregivers directly.
Mattie &Darla
I have two female beagles that are in need of a new home.  Long story shortened,  we want our  dogs to be in a home where they have quality time with their owners.  My husband and I both have to work now, and we are unable to spend time with them, and they are kenneled for the majority of the day when we are gone.  They are wonderful pets, but I strongly feel they need more human interaction that what we are capable of providing for them.

This is Matilda aka "Mattie".  She is a 6 year old spayed female beagle who is excellent with children and loves to play with other pets.  She is crate/house trained and is very quiet.  She is a 13 inch beagle and weighs approximately 25 lbs.

This is Darla.  She is a 9 year old spayed female beagle.  She would be an excellent pet for a senior, or a family with children.  She loves to snuggle and is obedient.  She is a standard size and weighs around 35-38 lbs.

I can be reached at (330)334-5132 (home) or (330)714-6457 (cell).  We live in Wadsworth OH.

Beulah

Beulah is very well tempered. She  is 10 years old.  We adopted her when she was 5.  She lived with two older women and they had to get rid of their dogs to move into an apartment. She was quite untrained in their house,  allowed on all the furniture, fed warmed-up soft food, etc.  She was also one of the submissive dogs in their house.  When we took her in, she quickly became dominant over our lab. We had her with small children around and other dogs and she doesn’t seem to have a problem after the initial desire to sniff them out.  She likes to be around other animals and people, which is why I think she needs a new home. We both work and the kids are in school/work most of the day. Our lab died a couple year ago and I have been working full-time for the last three years -- and she has steadily become more and more out of control. Also so she doesn’t get much attention anymore. She is spayed and has no health problems that we know of.

So, is there anyone out there who would love to have this sweetie, that just needs more than what I can give her so that she can be balanced and happy? Please email me at:

Annie

Annie (Copper Nose)  2 year old female Beagle that was rescued from the dog pound on November 9th.  We are currently working on house training which is going very well.  This girl is a quick study.  She is currently in a foster home with 4 other dogs and 10 cats and she loves everybody.  Annie is a bit laid back and is happy to be doing whatever you want to do.  She is up-to-date on vaccinations, heart worm negative and spayed.  Please call her foster mom if you would like more information (740) 279-5857.  Adoption fee: $125.

Jovie

Jovie is sweet and loves to play.  My vet thinks she is about 1 to 2 years old.  She gets along great with children and other dogs and cats. She weighs 21 pounds. She was spayed as of last Thursday. She is current on shots and heartworm. Jovie is doing great in the house, she loves attention but is not overbearing like some of my other dogs.

She will make a great family pet.

Willie & Casey
We recently moved out of the country for my husband's job, to Shanghai China to be exact and we placed our 2 amazing beagles (Willie and Casey) with a family friend while a beagle rescue is looking to place them.  They are amazing dogs and we ultimately would like to place them together  we know this might be very hard, but they have been together for many, many years and I think it would be very, very  hard on them not to be together.

Willie is 14.5yrs and 30lbs.  I bought Willie from a breeder in 1993 in California.  Male and neutered.  He is house trained and pretty much a couch potato.  He doesn't play much and doesn't like a lot of activity around him (so I don't think younger kids would be good for him).

Casey is about 10 yrs and 28 lbs.  We adopted her in 1999 from a shelter in Detroit so we do not know her early history.  Female and spayed.  She is house trained and can be a couch potato, but she also loves to run if possible.  She is shy but loves to be around people.

Currently they are with a very loving foster family, and awaiting another new permanent loving family.  They are very sweet dogs.  I've attached a recent pic. from this past Christmas.

Please feel free to contact the foster family: Laurie Capwell email: lcapwell@comcast.net
Or we can be reached at 248-589-9338 (home number via vonage acct. but please keep in mind in China we are 13 hours ahead of eastern standard time) or feel free to email.

Take care,

Molley
Molly is a wonderful girl!  She has a wonderful personality, she is great with all people and children.  She gets along with other dogs and cats.  She is a little hard to take for walks at the moment as she has never been really "trained".  I am working daily with her and she gets at least 4 walks a day with me, she is getting better.  She will bark at other dogs and is sometimes hard to handle when she sees another dog, but that is coming along as well.  She will bark at some people, but not all, I don't know why, but it isn't a "mean" bark, she feels she is protecting me, which is what they do.

Other than that, she is a very lovable, loyal and affectionate dog.  She really does not have any "bad" habits as such, she doesn't chew anything and she isn't destructive, as I mentioned above, just a little hard to handle on walks, but she is a smart dog and is learning quickly.

I can be contacted on my cell phone:  614-634-1557
or home phone 614-789-0656.

Sadie Ann
My parents are moving and are unable to take our 10 year old Beagle Sadie Ann with them. They have been ill for some time now and haven't been able to take care of her the way she deserves to be. She's very lovable, and full of energy. She's great with children, and is super silly. We loved her for many years but are unable to take her in. It's heart breaking. I've been trying for some time now to find her a home, but time is running out. They are moving this weekend, and I fear we'll have to take her to the pound. She is around 10 years of age, AKC registered, and is also fixed.

Red Tick
I have rescued a beagle from an unfortunate situation.  He is about 18 months old, male Red tick.  I have had him neutered, heartworm tested, vaccinated and many medicated baths.  He is heartworm positive, and I am having his heartworm treatment done at the clinic where I work. He won't be ready for adoption for about 8 weeks.  Mean time I am also housebreaking and teaching him his basic obedience.  He is a very sweet little guy and rides great in the car.  He loves everyone he meets including all other dogs and all the clinic cats.

Bailey
Bailey is 6 years old and house broken. She is current on shots and is spayed. She has no health problems. She is very active but she will settle down and cuddle with you . She barks when she is being protective, uneasy or bored. She loves to play especially with squeaky toys. One of her favorite games is "Find It" where her toy is hidden and she searches for it. She is very smart and needs attention to keep her from getting bored. When she gets bored she finds things to keep her entertained;. such as digging holes, or chewing on things. She wants to have fun and play! She has both beauty and brains!
She is purebred, but has no white tip on her tail. I did not get her
papers. I rescued her when she was 9 months old for my daughter, but she cannot keep her since she is going to college in the fall (which is why she was given away in the first place)  I live in a condo with my 84 year old mother and another rescued dog, otherwise I would keep her.
If you are interested in Bailey, please contact me at: horse.camper1@yahoo.com

Spice
Spice is approximately 5 years old, and I am her foster mom.  She has had pups in the past, but has been spayed and is current on her shots She is very sweet but extremely shy and timid with new people. Spice would do well in a quiet home, perhaps without children. However, she adores children but is afraid of loud noises and quick movements. She is very affectionate and completely crate trained. She appears to do well inside however has not been left alone inside without being crated. The best I can tell she is probably housebroken. Although she is very fearful and timid; she is in no way a fear biter. I have temperment tested her a great deal. She has a beautiful face but a sad expression. She is not a barker but will definitely sound like a true beagle if she something interesting catches her eye such as a rabbit ora squirrel. If anyone is interested in Spice they can contact me directly at

Oliver
I have a beagle/treeing walker mix  named Oliver that was given to us by a young girl who lived in an apartment and would leave the dog home for over 12 hours a day including in the evenings.  So instead of him going to the dog pound we ended up taking him. We got him when he was over a year old with no shots and he was not neutered, so we had all that done, and he has his license. Oliver gets along well with our great dane/ mastiff.

Olliver loves to sleep in bed with you but takes up all the space, likes to be right up next to you. Protective of his house will bark if someone comes in, he has his likes and dislikes about people. Sometimes will warm up right away and sometimes he will take his time. If he feels threatened he will nip because he is scared. LOVES to play tug of war, very strong. He does well with other dogs but needs to be introduced to them, LOVES to chase the cats. He is up to date on all his shots, I have those records, he is also neutered, he does have his license. He is in excellent health, maybe a little overweight because like I said we are not too active. We do do walks sometimes but that is not enough for him, would make a great running partner is someone is a jogger. I use a no pull harness that goes on his nose so he doesn't pull my arm off and he has learned to walk with it. He does whine for no reason that is about his only bad habit. Will let you know when he has to go out. He has a good personality always happy to see you when you come in and love attention. If your not petting him he will pick up your hand with his nose and put it on top of his head for you.

The reason for finding him a home is my husband does not like him! And that is not fair to him. Also, I will be going back to work full time and obviously a beagle in a room all day is not good, he needs more than that.  My email address is tiffany57b2000@yahoo.com or tiffanykbennett@hotmail.com. My phone number is 330-721-8527 and my cell number is 330-416-0378. We are willing to drive him to the right house if need be.

Dubbs
We are looking for a good home for our Beagle, Dubbs.  We are sad to have to give him up, but he demands more attention than we anticipate being able to give him.  Before our first child was born, he was the center of our attention, but he no longer receives the same amount of time with us.  We are now expecting another child in May and we are concerned that he is going to get less and less attention. We want the best home arrangement for him.

Dubbs is neutered and is current on all of his shots. He has seen the same vet since we got him and I can provide all of his records to the new owner.  Dubbs turned 5 on December 17th.  We have been his only owner since purchasing him from a breeder in March 2003.  The breeder claimed that he was a full-bred beagle, but the vet has explained that it appears that he may have some coon hound in him since he is a little larger than the average beagle.  He is a little taller and weighs about 35 pounds.

Personality and Temperament:  He loves attention!!!! Dubbs is a very loving dog and does well with small children.  I do watch him closely around babies, because out of his large curiosity, he loves to get very close. He does not like to be outdoors much, because he prefers to lounge around the house during the day and sleeps quite a bit.  He gets very excited with visitors and unfortunately does jump at their arrival.  The vet has explained that it appears that he has some anxiety around new people and is the reason for the excitement when they arrive. Within about 5 minutes, he will calm down.  He does still have some accidents from time to time.  They normally occur when the weather is bad outside and he is hesitant to be outdoors.  Dubbs would do well with other dogs, since he loves to play.  He cannot be walked off a leash and would need a fenced in yard to run and play.  He does become anxious when we leave the house, but quickly calms down and retreats to a bed in the house to relax.  We attempted crate training with him, but was not successful..  A good home for him would be a home where someone is home more frequently than just in the evenings since he does crave attention and enjoys the company of others.

Jessica and Anthony.

Grace and Darla

My wife and I have two Beagles (sisters) Grace and Darla.  They are 7 years old and have been with us since they were puppies. As you can imagine we care about them very much. Unfortunately we are in a situation where we have to find them another home. We have twin babies that are 18 months old that have been diagnosed with severe allergies of which dogs is one of them. As much as we love our beagles obviously our family must come first.  If there is any way you could assist us in finding them another good home we would be very grateful.

We purchased Grace and Darla from a breeder. They are house-trained; able to use a dog door to let themselves in and out or they will scratch lightly on the door to let us know that they need to go out. They have had regular veterinary check-ups receiving their appropriate shots and heartworm preventative treatment since they were pups. Both of them have been spayed as well. They have spent every living minute of their lives together so splitting them up is not really an option. They are good with children and other dogs. They have been "house dogs" being more likely to hunt for a warm spot on their dog bed than to go hunting in the field. Like most other beagles they love to go for walks and will howl at the smell of a rabbit. For beagles though their barking seems unusually limited to that smell of the rabbit or when we arrive home they will bark briefly to greet us. Other than that they lead a relatively quiet life.

We live in Chagrin Falls, Ohio and can be reached at (216) 374-7300 or via email at johns@outtech-online.com.

Thank you

John Seliga
